Interesting…
Istat for iphone is out , nicely done, complete with delicious interface.

Keep every stat of your Mac under control, via local network (Bonjour) or Internet.
it’s a mistery game! it’s in Madagascar, it’s an adventure but you have to figure out yourself how to play it…
no instructions, no help
in the US there is a cash price that every day grows of 1k $ up to 30k $ for the first player to “truly” complete the game (whatever that means) !
also 10% of App Store revenue will be donated to the Madagascar Fauna Group
design, artworks and concept look interesting enough… give it a try when it will be released on the international app stores.
Illustrator CS4 is out with some new goodies & tricks!
Vectips, a great site about vector art, wrote a brief article highlighting all the new features.
it’s all very simple, concise and spot-on so don’t miss it!

another lovely app for iphone/ipod touch
this one will let you track your weight-loss victories, but what’s more intersting it’s the GUI that really shines!

put in some simple sound effects, a very nicely done and thought interface and a cool design logo: it’s the recipe for a delicious app.
The app is from Tapbots and here is the App Store Link

what’s new?
a new, beatiful, one-piece aluminum body (unibody)
glass multi-gesture trackpad
powerful Nvidia chip, new glossy screen and removable battery+HD
…still trying to figure out if I like the black glossy screen or not, it’s not as elegant as the old Pro but it’s sexy
ont thing’s for sure: you can see the love in Jony Ive words…
“it becomes so much more than just a collection of parts, we refined and refined every detail… just to get rid of complexity… I don’t know how we could make something any more essential, any any simpler”
you can watch the entire video, it’s a marketing masterpiece by Apple
Hard Choice:
Pro has 9600M GT plus more screen resolution while macbook is smaller and lighter but only has 9400M and no-firewire.
Also if you like backlit keyboard you have to go for the “1599$ macbook”

on the inside they are very clean and simple, and they seem to run quite cool
ifixit says “this may be the most beautiful laptop we’ve disassembled. Apple has a right to be proud of their engineers and manufacturing team.”
so what are you waiting for? Go get your macbook!

how to both create a fine website and realize a fun idea!
the site let you create and email fun “fill-in-the-blank” forms for every occasion:
“wehther you need to communicate a problem, send an invitation to an event, or simply apologize…”
The site is Bureau of Communication , and credit goes to Magnetism, that also makes some interesting Mac and Iphone apps!
today I changed my wallpaper, maybe you like it as well

…and take a look around. On the same site there are a lot a very nice wallpapers from Vlad Gerasimov

…linking to the last article:
the guys behind iStat, Organized and “I Love Lamp” decided to code their own iPhone apps!
of course the icons are stunning as is the interface design
feature wise the two main apps, Jobs and Darkness, are written to do simple tasks, but to do them easily and nicely.
I bought myself Darknes and is a nice world clock, with some new ideas..

bjango.com is a lovely designed css website about iphone apps from the same guys of islayer.com
while I was browsing around I noticed the small “paint drips” at the bottom of the site layout. A classy touch, the attention to detail that makes the difference between a good design and a design that really stands out!

latest Polar shows a uncommon attention to design than the usual heart-rate monitor…
A new whirl of amazing fitness and training feature but in the end what’s important? It’s cooler!
the all-new ipod nano!
…colorful, thin, featured with a useless lovely interface and the best thing is?
you can shake the thing to skip track and shuffle songs!

and you have a lot of them… but now you really need something to view, use and organize them in a delicious way!
Candybar is what you want. High-quality OSX software, great interface, lovely app icon.

Will Murai - Comicbook colorist and illustrator.
A little off-topic (no technology here), but well worth it. Thanks to Gabriele for the link!

a lovely css website… take a look! and be sure to scroll the page all the way, up to the sky and underwater

this is what I call stunning… the car can change its shape
“what do we need a skin of a car for anyway… does it have to be made out of metal?” Chris Bangle
